Our team provides comprehensive vocational evaluations that help participants understand their strengths, interests, and support needs. Using assessments, real-world simulations, and individual conversations, we work with each person to identify potential career paths in maritime, manufacturing, and related sectors. These evaluations can also support K-12 counselors and transition teams as they plan next steps for students with disabilities.

Workplace readiness classes help participants master the skills that matter on any job site—communication, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and professionalism. Through workshops, role-playing, and coaching, we prepare individuals not just to learn technical tasks but to successfully navigate the expectations of modern workplaces.

Many non-traditional job seekers face barriers beyond skills training. VersAbility TECH offers wraparound supports that may include referrals for transportation assistance, linkage to community resources, coordination with state agencies, and guidance on reasonable workplace accommodations. Our goal is to ensure that participants can fully engage in training and sustain employment once hired.

VersAbility’s Supported Employment division helps graduates translate new skills into lasting careers. Job coaches assist with job search, interview preparation, onboarding, and on-the-job support. We remain engaged with both the employee and employer to promote retention, troubleshoot challenges, and support career growth over time.

For inclusive hiring to succeed, employers need support too. VersAbility TECH works with businesses to build ‘business readiness’ – helping organizations understand the value of hiring individuals with disabilities, implement accessible practices, and tap into a more diverse talent pipeline. Through consultation, training, and ongoing partnership, we help employers strengthen their workforce while advancing equity and innovation.
